Our adoption program is currently 100% foster based. Meaning, if we don't have an available foster, we cannot accept an animal. We hate turning people away, so we are hoping to expand our foster network!

Fosters will receive a 30% discount on pet supplies when shopping at A Pet’s Tale.

In addition to this, Kind Closet is willing to extend this same gratitude on apparel for the whole family.

Fosters must live in Jackson, MN city limits to make vetting & visits easily accessible.
Some things you should know before deciding to foster...
The average time an animal stays in foster care has been about 80 days. This number fluctuates greatly depending on stage of life/health. You must be able to or willing to allow board members to photograph/video the animal for posting on social media/Petfinder. Animals have better chances of being adopted with a dazzling dating profile.
The average vet cost per animal is about $200-$400, fluctuating depending on condition/stage of life. These costs are typically covered by our organization, funded through donations/grants. You have to be able to bring the animal to and from the vet clinic for appointments.
